I am building a shed. Here are a couple of questions that might help me.
I am not sure rather to notch the 2x4 on the rafter or not. The risk is that the board may spit under the load of the roof. The rafters are 2x4 with 16 inch centers and only about 4 feel long. I think I am safe either way. What do you think?
